January 2nd, 2026, Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Clerk & Recorder Tomassi. Commissioner Turley, Commissioner Pancratz, Commissioner Goffena and Norma Trent were present. Ms. Tomassi said the meeting was open for nominations. Commissioner Turley nominated Commissioner Pancratz as Chairman of the Commission. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Commissioner Pancratz nominated Commissioner Goffena as Vice Chairman of the Commission. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried. Minutes done by Garilynn Rapp.

Commissioner Turley made the motion to approve the agenda for the day. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to approve December 5th, 2025, minutes and December 19th, 2025. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Public Comment: Warren Hanson reviewed possible funding sources available to the Middle Musselshell Water District with the Commissioners.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion Review and sign Resolution 2026-1, as amended setting the travel and meal reimbursements rate to $0.72 for 2026. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion, motion carried.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to Review and sign Resolution 2026-2 setting Legal Holidays for 2026. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made the motion to Review and sign Resolution 2026-3 setting Regular Meeting Days of the Musselshell County Commission and to describe procedures for public participation. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion, motion carried.
Commissioner Turley made the motion to Review and sign Resolution 2026-4 setting the travel and meal reimbursements for 2026. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
All Commissioners attended the Wier Building Meeting, working to protect County interests in the project.
All accounting requirements for 2025 have been completed and CAS Marshall has submitted the Financial Report.
Sheriff Lesnik reviewed the CGen computers and requirements for law enforcement and communications. Additionally, larger cases are concluding and sentencing dates for long term inmates.
EMS Director Solberg reviewed the Allworx phone system with the Commissioners.
