The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Goffena and Commissioner Pancratz were present. Minutes were done by Charle Vohs. Norma Trent was present.
Pledge of Allegiance
Commissioner Goffena made a motion to approve the agenda for the day. Commissioner Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Turley made a motion to approve the minutes with corrections from August 21, 2026. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Open Comment for the 2026-27 Budget was opened.

- Review and sign Resolution 2026-21 Donating land to American Legion.
Commissioner Goffena asked for Resolution to be tabled until Real estate Assessment can be completed. Commissioner Turley Seconded Commissioner Pancratz called for motion. Motion passed.
- Review and sign the Warranty Deed for the land donated to American Legion,
Motion to table by Commissioner Turley, Commissioner Goffena seconded. Commissioner Pancratz called for the motion. Motion passed.
- Review and sign encroachment permit for an approach on Dean Creek Road submitted by Alvin/Susan Hochstetler approved by Road & Bridge Supervisor Stockert.
Commissioner Goffena motioned for it to be signed and passed. Commissioner Turley seconded it Commissioner Pancratz called for the motion. Motion passed.
- Review and sign the certification of Match submitted by Area II Agency on Aging.

- Review and sign the contract Agreement for the County Agent between Musselshell Co. and MSU. Extension

Carol Sewell came in to complain about a dog problem. Commissioners assured her they would talk to Sheriff Lesnik.
Denise Miller/ MCSS
Melstone had 6 diners and Denise will advertise more to get Seniors to come back.150 meals were served this week in Roundup. Average income is around $5500.per month for all walk ins pickups and Meals on wheels.
County Agent Reed Cooley. Asking for vehicle for him to drive, there is a pickup that DES has parked there Reed will talk to Justin about letting County Agent office to use.
Sheriff Lesnik gave his weekly report. 2 in jail. All deputies trained. Everything is going well.
Community Health Worker Nick Littrell submitted a $10,000.00 grant will know about in next couple weeks. Resubmit for use of last grant to use overall expenses. Will hear after next board meeting. Nick asked to pay and attend a suicide prevention conference this was okayed.
EMS Ron Solberg Staying busy and changing out 198 Batteries for Dispatch, EMS, DES, Sheriff’s Office.
1:00 Theresa Doumitt Weir building Update. RFQ’s are extended to Oct. 15,2026. Thereasa talked to the compliance officer at the city, and they are okay with Lori & Will to maintain the lot.
2:00 Norma Zolnikov came in to talk to commissioners, she asked for a closed-door discussion. She was granted that.
3:00 Public Comment: Robert wayman came in to thank Commissioner Pancratz for his service to Musselshell County

3:15 Ryan Couch came in to let the Commissioners know that he is happy with the Sheriffs budget as is for when he takes over in January
Angie Tatman Fairgrounds came in to update on fairgrounds. Cowboy shooting went well and the Mule Clinic is going on now and has a great turnout. Cowboy shooting is wanting to come back next year. Asked to get some signs made for the Fairgrounds that were approved.
Treasurer’s Office: Darcie went over the school Budgets in the county.
