The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by Commissioner Turley and Commissioner Goffena was present. Minutes were done by Charle Vohs. Commissioner Pancratz was absent. Norma Trent, County Attorney Holly Todd Rogers and Duane Brewer were also present.
Pledge of Allegiance
Commissioner Turley made a motion to approve the agenda for the day. Commissioner Goffena seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Commissioner Goffena made a motion to approve the minutes from September 4, 2026. Turley seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Public comment: Duane Brewer came in to ask about the county water system that is being opened. He believes it would be in competition with him. He was asked to come back for the 3:00 public meeting to continue the conversation.
Public comments on the 2026/2027 Budget Amendments were opened. No public comment.
Michaela Viviano from CPS (Child Protective Services) came in and was asking about space like the old XL Realty office. It was for sale right now.

- Review and sign Resolution 2026-Donating Land to American Legion. Motion to approve was by Commissioner Turley. Commissioner Goffena Seconded it. Motion passed.
- Review and Sign the Warranty Deed for the land donated to the American Legion. Commissioner Turley motioned to sign. Commissioner Goffena second its Motion passed. Will sign this afternoon.
- Review and sign Resolution 2026-28 to receive State Homeland Security Program west repeater Site Improvement in the amount of $450,000.00 Commissioner Goffena motioned to sign. Commissioner Turley second its Motion passed.
Denise Miller/ MCSS. August 617 meals were served in house 528 meals were taken home. 64 rides. Fund raising breakfast is Tuesday September 15th at 7am- 10am.
Treasurer Hetrick Cash reconciliation report handed in no adjustments needed.
Sheriff Lesnik Served two felony warrants 1 for $25,000. 2nd an out of state warrant for $100,000.00 he is waiting on extradition. Asked to put a notice of access on Bair Collins area to Facebook. Commissioners Agreed
DES Justin Russell and Assistant Darren Rook This week we had 23 office visits, 28 phone calls, and 2 Rural Addressing Calls for service. 1 Wildland fire 1.5 acres. 3 meeting attended.
County Agent Reed Cooley came in and gave his update. Water quality classes on Sept.10 Canning class coming up October 17 Winter programs are in the development stage.
Community Health Worker Nick Littrell gave his weekly report. Has met with Elementary school and is setting up with JR high and High school this week. He attended a suicide prevention conference last week.

1:00 Theresa Doumitt/Wier Building Update. Commissioners Pancratz, Goffena & Turley went to Wier building for update.
2:00 Floyd Fisher requested an agreement with County and City for storage of RV’s and cars to be salvaged.
Frank Kelly American Legion Commander came in for the signing of the deed. Thanked the commissioners for all their help.
Angi Tatman Fairgrounds. Update on projects and events at Fairgrounds. Water demo and turn on is scheduled for Tues. Sept. 15 @ 2:00pm.
